New for 2017, the Bauer Vapor X800 skate builds upon the concepts that made the 2015 Vapor line one of the top models of skates on the market, with new improvements for unmatched speed and quickness.

The Bauer Vapor X800 Senior Ice Hockey skate is a high level skate designed to lock a skater’s foot in for achieving better mobility and speed. The Vapor X800 will be constructed using the ultra-lightweight Curv® composite material, which reduces the overall weight of the skate while keeping the durability, strength, and support that players are used to with the top end skates. The X-rib pattern will continue the heel and ankle lock design to keep the skaters foot in place for quicker crossovers and tighter turns.

Moving to the inside of the skate, the ankle of the X800 will feature dual density foam to provide a comfortable and supporting fit inside of the skate. The Lock-Fit liner is designed to help keep the foot in place while skating. This combined with tapered V-fit design of the skate help to lock the fit in for a more efficient stride. The Flex-Lock tongue will offer good forward flex while locking the skater’s foot down, and the Lock-Fit footbed will help keep the foot stabilized in the boot. All these designs will keep the skaters foot in place to help achieve better agility and speed.

Coming from the boot will be Bauer’s Lightspeed Edge holder. This revolutionary holder uses a trigger system to make swapping out damaged or broken steel quick and easy. The holder will also sit three milometers higher than older model Tuuk holders. By raising and narrowing the holder, skaters can get lower into turns without bottoming out. Bauer’s LS2 steel will come standard on the Vapor X800 skate.

The Skate Boot is covered against defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.

The Holder is covered against defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of 365 days from the date of purchase.
