New for 2017, the Bauer Vapor X600 skate builds upon the concepts that made the 2015 Vapor line one of the top models of skates on the market, with new improvements for unmatched speed and quickness.

The boot is constructed with Bauer’s fiber composite material. This will give the boot improved stiffness from the previous lines of Vapor skates, while also giving the skate a weight reduction. The X-rib pattern gives the heel of the skate added stiffness and helps lock the foot into place.

Internally, anaform ankle padding adds a level of comfort and can be baked to reduce break in time for that perfect fit. Covering that padding will be a hydrophobic microfiber liner. This liner is made to help wick away moisture to keep your foot dry throughout the game, and dry quicker in between them. The boot sits upon an injected TPU outsole meant to increase energy transfer from the boot.

Moving from the boot will be Bauer’s Lightspeed Edge holder. This revolutionary holder uses a trigger system to make swapping out damaged or broken steel quick and easy. The holder will also sit three milometers higher than older model Tuuk holders. By raising and narrowing the holder, skaters can get lower into turns without bottoming out. The Tuuk super stainless steel will also come standard with the X600 skates.
