The Tacks line features CCM’s mid-kick sticks, ideal for players who take a variety of shots from everywhere in the offensive zone and value versatility. CCM redefines the traditional mid-kick design with their Max Loading technology, optimizing the position of the softer flex zone which allows for a longer loading period to store more energy, while the stiff taper zone maximizes stability and response. For the shaft construction, the AS-V Pro features Nanolite Carbon Layering combined with Sigma STP Carbon. Sigmatex’s new carbon weave improves on previous generation’s durability and strength, while still allowing for a lighter and better-balanced stick. With this technology, CCM can produce a stick that has great feel and consistency when shooting, passing, and stickhandling.

The Tacks AS-V Pro stick features a transition from Tacks traditional T-Shape Geometry at the top of the shaft to a rounder V-Shape in the mid-section. This new geometry helps easily load the stick to generate extra power when shooting, and provides consistency and predictability on all shots.  

At the bottom of the shaft, CCM is using Skeleton+ Technology found in the taper area which provides better reliability so you can always rely on your stick in key parts of the game. This technology, which is passed down from the AS4 Pro stick, creates a balanced stick with greater stability and control when leaning into a shot and will help you generate more power and accuracy.

The Tacks AS-V Pro includes the new ACUFEL 2 blade with peel ply. This new blade was upgraded to include Sigma STP to improve the durability. It is stiff enough to deliver accuracy and control, but still soft enough to improve overall puck feel.
