New for the 2018 season are the Bauer Nexus 2N Junior Ice Hockey Skates. Bauer looks to follow suit of the highly popular Nexus line by adding a few key upgrades to this current iteration, further enhancing an already highly regarded skate.

For the 2N skates, Bauer focused on comfort and durability. With this in mind, they have introduced their new 3D lasted carbon Curv composite quarter package. With this setup being more responsive to heat molding than ever before, it will provide an anatomical, close to the foot feel, making your strides on the ice even more efficient. Not only is this setup highly protective and durable, but it is also comfortable on your feet!

This goes hand in hand with the introduction of Bauer’s Form-Fit tongue. This tongue is a 2-piece, 48-ounce felt tongue with a reinforced metatarsal guard giving you the perfect blend of comfort and protection.

Moving on to the interior of the skate, Bauer has gone with their new Hydra Max 2 liner. This material is highly durable, does a great job of wicking away moisture, and due to the soft touch, is perfect for players who prefer not to wear socks while playing!

This liner is paired with Bauer’s Form-Fit+ footbed. This footbed features a tacky grip in the heel and toe helping keep the foot firmly planted in the skate. This concept helps to prevent any power loss in your strides while skating.

The Bauer Nexus 2N Junior Ice Hockey Skates feature the patented LightSpeed EDGE holder. These holders give you the option to quickly switch out a runner on the fly, if one were to break.
