When purchasing a new hockey stick, several factors should be considered to find the best model for your skill level and playing style.  To start, the kick-point is important, as it plays a crucial role in how shots and passes come off the stick. This will help overall on-ice performance and taking your game to the next level.

Revised from the previous model is the low-kick point design. CCM did this by making the hosel and top of the shaft softer, producing a shot that’s easier to load. The asymmetrical taper is designed to specifically improve the hosel and taper strength with added pop. 

For the shaft, CCM includes Pure Carbon Technology. This is a carbon layering process that help to reduce weight, improving overall structural strength and stick performance.  

Passed down from the Trigger 8 is the agility blade with peel-ply combined with sigmatex spread tow. This construction optimizes the stiffness profile and transitions seamlessly from softer in the heel to extra stiff in the toe. This allows for heightened puck feel, quicker releases and a sturdier blade.

With this stick being a hybrid between the previous Trigger 8 and the Team sticks, you will find this is a slightly heavier stick at 420g but built with quality material to provide more strength and better balance.
